Mission
Our Purpose
Crook County Sheriff Search and Rescue is committed to providing swift and effective search and rescue services to ensure the safety of all community members. Our mission is to respond promptly to emergencies, locate missing individuals, and support law enforcement agencies in safeguarding the community.
We are a volunteer organization, but we train rigorously and stand prepared to assist Crook County and neighboring counties in all manner of Search and Rescue missions.
Crook County Sheriff Search and Rescue is a volunteer organization dedicated to providing professional level Search and Rescue services to Crook County residents and visitors in the backcountry, rural and urban areas as requested by the Sheriff. We also serve as a mutual aid resource for other counties in the area. Search and Rescue serves as an educational and humanitarian resource to the community, providing information and training.
